‘World Of Dance’ Is Canceled

World of Dance Season 4 aired last year on NBC, with 12 episodes between May and August. Deadline reports that earlier this month, NBC revealed its summer premiere dates, but the show was left out.

The show reportedly had less consistent ratings in its fourth season compared to the strong performance of the first three. The competition, which was also executive produced by J.Lo, was created with the World of Dance enterprise.

The cancelation news means that fellow judges Ne-Yo and Derek Hough, as well as host Scott Evans, won’t be back. In past years, contestants have competed on the show for a $1 million prize.

The show’s format has been remade in countries such as the Philippines, Thailand, and Poland.

Is Jennifer Lopez Still Engaged?

The World of Dance cancelation isn’t the only Jennifer Lopez news that’s disappointing fans this month. Recently, it was reported that Jennifer and her fiancé Alex Rodriguez had called off their engagement.

However, the couple later announced that they’re still together. “We are working through some things,” they said in a statement. A source told People that they “hit a rough patch” and talked about breaking up, but they didn’t.

The couple got engaged in 2019, and they’ve had to postpone their wedding twice. People‘s source said that it had been difficult being apart, as Jennifer films a movie in the Dominican Republic and Alex is in Miami.

According to TMZ, the couple’s kids were a factor in their decision to stay together and work through things. They each have two children from previous relationships who have reportedly become close.
