Dancing with the Stars pro dancer Sasha Farber took to Instagram on Wednesday to share a message with fans that seems to be a response to news that his wife and fellow pro Emma Slater filed for divorce. The couple has been separated since last year.

Earlier this week, it was reported that Slater had officially filed for divorce from Farber after nearly five years of marriage. According to court documents, the split was amicable. The pair is still performing together on the DWTS live tour.

On Wednesday, Farber took to Instagram stories to write, “Things in life don’t always work out, but it’s important to be thankful for the good times and great memories, be strong and keep moving.” He added a broken heart emoji.
